Tackling health inequalities

HealthForm Community Interest Company (CIC) exists to tackle health inequalities across Greater Manchester. It raises money to help reduce health inequalities in the area. It does this by running a society lottery and working collaboratively with independent charity, People's Health Trust to develop local interventions.

We donate the good causes funds we raise to People's Health Trust, who invests these in communities wishing to make their neighbourhoods even better places to grow, live, work and age.

This grant making trust funds local people who have great ideas about how they can make their neighbourhoods even better places to grow, live, work and age.

Funding raised so far by HealthForm CIC

Working with HealthForm, People's Health Trust has made grants to local groups totalling £1,440,766.

Valley Community Gardens

Valley Community Gardens were awarded £18,755 to run a range of activities for the residents of Swinton. The project will expand on an established curling group and launch a range of other new ideas developed by local people such as holiday events for children and families, guerrilla knitting and DIY courses. All activities will take place at a community garden.
